How the Challenge works
Four simple steps take you from coloring page to winner announcement — no purchase necessary to enter or win.
Step 1
Color the page
Your child colors this month's featured Bible story page from their BTFM Coloring Book. The artwork must be created and completed solely by the child — no coloring, tracing, shading, correcting, or other artistic assistance from a parent, sibling, or anyone else. An adult may discuss the Bible story, provide encouragement, and supply coloring materials, but may not direct specific artistic choices.
Step 2
Photograph or scan
A parent or guardian takes a clear photo or scan of the finished page. We only need the artwork — please never upload a photograph of your child.
Step 3
Submit the entry
The parent or guardian completes the short entry form, uploads the artwork, and provides the required certifications and consent. Limit: one entry per child per monthly Challenge period.
Step 4
Judging & winners announced
Each entry is scored out of 100 points on Creativity & Imagination, Use of Color, Effort & Completeness, and Connection to the Bible Story. Judging is a contest of skill — chance plays no part. Monthly winners are chosen in each age group and posted in the Winners Gallery, with parental permission only.

- Colored pencils
- Markers
- Other approved child-appropriate coloring materials
Not allowed
- Digital coloring
- AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork
- Filters or digital retouching
- Photo manipulation of the completed artwork
Common questions
Do I need to buy a BTFM Coloring Book to enter?
No. No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and purchasing a BTFM product will not improve a child's chance of winning. The eligible coloring page is posted each month on this Challenge page.
Can I help my child with the artwork?
You can explain the rules, talk through the Bible story, provide materials, and offer general encouragement. You may not direct specific colors, shading, or corrections — the artwork must be entirely your child's own work.
Who can enter on behalf of a child?
Only a parent or legal guardian, who must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in their state). Children may not submit entries or personal information directly.
Where is my child's artwork shown afterward?
Only in the Winners Gallery, and only if you separately opt in during submission. You can withdraw that permission at any time.
